And first here we get a long list of names, among which are Roger Moore, Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly, David Niven, Peter Sellers… It could go on and on, so intimately tied is the history of the Greengo, the Gstaad Palace’s legendary night club, to the worldwide renown of the Swiss resort.

Greengo now turns 40. In order to celebrate the event, the Gstaad Palace and Hublot Watches have teamed up to create a Big Bang in the iconic colors of the club – with a Black Magic base featuring the two famous green and orange colors – in an edition of just 40 pieces (for 40 years), available only from the Gstaad Palace. Our nod to history: the Greengo logo takes its place on the dial instead of the index at 8 o’clock or at 40 mins, standing for the 40 years of legendary parties. The debut of this watch is on 7 January 2011; at the Greengo, quite naturally, in fact! And of course, it is accompanied an epic, glorious celebration.
